THE NEW YEAR IS ALMOST HERE and so I decided to create a list from 2010 on what needs to be GONE in 2011, and what really grinds my gears!!!

It's Been One Year...

On this same day last year, the CIncinnati Bengals lost one of their beloved players, Chris Henry. We all know that Chris had his problems off the field so there's no need to discuss or mention his mistakes at this time while honoring his memory.

I SURVIVED MY 1ST SEMESTER OF COLLEGE!!

FINALS ARE OVER, I CAN NOW REJOICE!!

Home is Calling My Name!

I just cannot wait until I step foot inside this house for a whole month!! I am totally craving some well-needed rest for sure!!

FINALS WEEK!

College is such...a....drag....! It doesn't even feel like the holidays or that even Christmas is coming. My finals start tomorrow morning starting with Grammar for Journalists then College Math. Then all I have is 2 papers due for the same class on tuesday and thursday (no class wednesday) then my Intro to Journalism final on friday, and that's it!! Sounds simple huh? Well, I just hope this week goes by quickly because I really wanna go home now!

As soon as this week is is over, I will be able to finally blog as much as I want to, take a lot of winter pictures and post them on here, and most importantly, RELAX RELATE & RELEASE!!!

My Interview w/ Howard Schlossberg

Howard Schlossberg is a Sports Journalist and professor at Columbia College Chicago who teaches Sports Reporting. 

  Inside of Mr. Schlossberg’s office, there are many pictures of sports related postings hanging all over the walls. There were many pictures of past Sports Illustrated covers and newspaper clippings of Chicago sports pages. Then I noticed an old picture that was hanging up of Mr. Schlossberg and another guy that looked so familiar to me. When I asked him who it was I got a simple reply, “That’s Kevin Johnson. He played for the (Phoenix) Suns.” Awesome. As I was waiting to shoot off my first question, there was a long silence in the room because I was waiting for him to finish some work he was already doing. Then finally he says, “Okay. Fire away girlfriend.”

Wow I haven't been on here since the 1st of this month! I'm a college freshman so it's kinda hard to maintain and keep up with writing articles everyday. So, I'm gonna try my best to be up to date for the next couple of days! :) 


Oh yeah, Kanye's album drops worldwide on November 22nd! I'm gonna dedicate a lot of my posts to the up-and-coming album for a whole week when it drops! LET'S GET IT INNNN!!! :-)

Chris Tucker was recently at New York's Manhattan Avenue nightclub when he was taped giving this MJ performance. I think Chris Tucker was the best friend Michael ever had since his death, meaning, we haven't seen Chris doing any exclusive interviews, sharing insider things about their friendship, etc.. Chris stayed true to his friend and that's how it should be!

Long Time, No See!

I haven't blogged for a couple of days! What's wrong with me?! Anyway, my weekend was great starting on saturday, because of the 'Runaway' short film premier (which I loved!); I will be writing what I thought about it sooner than later. :)

So this morning I woke up with tweets coming from Chris Brown (around 6 am) saying that his new video for Yeah 3x is now available everywhere; but I was too sleepy to get up and check it out lol. 


I finally watched it a couple of hours ago, and it was a very nice video. I really LOVE to watch him dance! (the next MJ?) Anyways, when I saw the video, it kinda reminded me of my favorite Janet Jackson video, Alright. Check it out below!

Now, I was kinda skeptical about how serious it was to be banned. I was thinking, "damn how bad is the cover for it to be BANNED..?" And this is what Mr. West tweeted as his banned cover. Peep this!

November Will Be a Great Month For Me! :)

I must say, this November will be an exciting one! Okay, yes Thanksgiving is a reason to be excited...oh, and I will also be at home with mi familia in Cincy too! But, that's not what I'm excited for...I am excited for Kid Cudi's sophomore release, Man On the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, which I KNOW will be as good as the first album Man On the Moon: The End of Day. Now, for the even more exciting music news...Kanye West's 5th album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy will be released November 22nd! There is no artwork for the album yet, but I know Yeezy will not disappoint! Coming with the album will be Kanye's 40 minute film called "Runaway" (dope song!), which will be premiered simultaneously on BET, MTV,VH1,etc.. So I've been thinking a lot lately about my future and school. I may not be at Columbia after next year and I expressed a whole lot about going to my first choice school, Kent State University. I see myself better at a traditional university with a campus life (because that is what I imagined my college life would be like) and most importantly, less expensive! But, I can't wait until next year. If I do get accepted to Kent for my sophomore year, it'll be a new beginning for me!
